Kate in Jonathan Saunders for Visit to Pippa's West London Home

Candid photos of the Duchess of Cambridge are a rarity these days, but much like with buses you wait an age for one and then several come along at once. Kate was photographed once again leaving Pippa and James Matthews' West London home earlier today. You can view more photos on the Mail Online.

'The family are gearing up for the much-anticipated wedding of the year.
And the Duchess of Cambridge looked every inch the supportive sister today as she dropped in on bride-to-be Pippa's west London home. Kate, 35, visited her younger sister's house on Thursday just hours after their mother Carole paid a visit alongside milliner Stephen Jones. Dressed casually in a white cable knit jumper, black skinny jeans and £50 Superga pumps, Kate looked keen to slip under the radar as she hid her face behind her phone. '

With the wedding date drawing ever closer (20 May) James and Pippa's £17 million mansion has become a hive of activity with family, friends, milliners and designers reportedly in and out regularly. This hasn't gone unnoticed by photographers who have taken several sets of photos in the past week. Last week William and Kate were pictured arriving for a dinner with Pippa, James, his parents David and Jane and his brother Spencer (who was also photographed arriving at their home today). James Middleton was also there.

Yesterday Carole Middleton was spotted leaving Pippa's home with a man believed to be milliner Stephen Jones OBE, who left with several white bags in hand. Carole wore a pink blazer, navy pants and Jaeger Elizabeth wedges. These snaps are reminiscent of the photos we saw of Kate in the weeks leading up to the royal wedding, which was such a fun and memorable time for royal watchers.

Stephen Jones has been described as one one of the most "important" and radical milliners of our time. His career has been varied and celebrated with his designs gracing the catwalks for everyone from Dior to Vivienne Westwood. The late Diana, Princess of Wales was a regular customer of his. Below, a look at his bridal millinery.

I've always liked Kate's casual style and today she opted to wear well-known pieces for a relaxed look. Kate sported her Jonathan Saunders Deborah Egg-Knit sweater. The Duchess first wore the garment for a visit to the Rugby Stadium during the 2014 Australia/New Zealand tour.

The slim-fitting ribbed sweater has a round neck and long sleeves. The white, aqua and blush sweater is 100% cotton. It was something of a staple then and came in several colours. Kate teamed the sweater with black skinny jeans. Times have certainly changed since then. In December 2015 the designer announced the closure of his label citing "personal reasons". Last May he joined Diane von Furstenburg as the brand's first Chief Creative Officer responsible for the overall creative direction.

Kate's Superga Cotu sneakers are also a familiar pair. The Duchess wore them on the last day of the Canada tour last September.

They are are described as: "The textured contrast sole sets off the low-profile design, and the label and logo-embossed eyelets lend branded appeal." They are currently reduced by 25% to $48.71 at Nordstrom. They are also available at ShopBop.

Several of you have messaged me to enquire about the date of Kate's next engagement. The next date I'm aware of (although not yet officially released by KP) is the London Marathon on 23 April. I imagine we'll hear engagement announcements from the Palace anytime now.
